MIA

I officially cannot keep up with the blogging world. FYI- Abi was born the next day after my last post 6/26/09 at 6:25am... I have been really busy with the girls (E & ABI). My sister's family stayed with us the whole month of September. We got new floors put in, thanks to my bro-in-law. Last weekend we went to Viva Las Vegas! Of course, we didn't win big, but had a blast. Abi rolled over back to tummy Thursday and rolled tummy to back today. She is our little mover.

The waiting game!

I am past 38 weeks pregnant and am playing the waiting game. I'll only wait until July 1st, which is my induction date! We have to be at the hospital at 6am... We'll be leaving ELizabeth with Jeff's parents, who will drive over the night before. I would have to say that scheduling the induction has made me so nervous. It being planned makes it so different for me. Since, I am 3cm dilated and 80% effaced, I might not make my induction date, but we'll see. We are almost in "get-ready for baby" mode...

In the meantime, we are still having a lot of fun with Elizabeth. I could have sworn she had a red bull for breakfast. She was running all over the place. Chasing me & Jeff around the house laughing and trying to tickle us! She did go down for her morning nap earlier than usual!

Yesterday, Elizabeth decided to climb into the infant car seat before we loaded it in the car.

She also felt like rearranging my condiments and such from the fridge! One of her favorite things to do whenever I open the fridge.

Last Tuesday, she was mad about having her juice in a certain sippy cup and refused to drink out of it. She cried & cried & cried until we gave her one she wanted... So stubborn!

37 weeks pregnant today!

I cannot believe I am already 37 weeks pregnant today. Dilated to 3cm and 50% effaced.... Baby #2 is getting closer to being here and of course I'm not ready. Jeff has been so great throughout this whole pregnancy and has really been carrying the load of Elizabeth! To name one thing: he gives her a bath each night, no longer with my help.

Elizabeth has been so much fun lately too! Elizabeth loves playing with all her friends! She's walking every where and she's become a chatter box... When we went on vacation every time she say Jeff's dad she would smile and say "Pappa!" Her new word is "Uh, Oh" and more recently she's started saying "tickle, tickle, tickle" really fast, because when we tickle her that's what we say. It actually sounds like "ticka, ticka, ticka".

Father's day is this Sunday and I cannot wait to give Jeff his gifts. He is such a great dad and I love seeing him play with Elizabeth! She is becoming daddy's little girl more and more each day. When Jeff got home tonight from work, I was holding her and apparently she wanted daddy. He walked away to put his work stuff in the office and she started crying for him... and kept crying until Jeff could hold her. This is great timing for Elizabeth to get more attached to Jeff because of the new baby!

It's been a while!

I guess I ought to post a blog, since it's only been since last October! :) I'm much better at keeping my Facebook up-to-date! Anyway, today is good 'ol St. Patty's day and yes, I am wearing green. Elizabeth is too! I'm also exactly 24 weeks pregnant today. I feel great, even though I actually feel pregnant with this one. I'm having the stereotypical pregnancy symptoms.... hormones are wild, gas. Those are always so good to have :) j/k.

Last fall, Jeff got a change in his job position to a Buying Group Territory Manager and now travels the entire state of SC and to Charlotte & Asheville, NC. He's adjusted wonderfully and is enjoying the territory and position.

We mailed are taxes in yesterday and love being able to claim Elizabeth! Thank you extra money! We use every penny. Babies are so expensive and it doesn't help when the child's mom likes expensive things.... my bad!

Elizabeth is such a great baby! She started crawling & pulling up 2 days before she turned 9 months. You can see this in the youtube videos I have posted! We couldn't ask for a happier baby. She's always in a good mood, unless she is hungry or tired! We're starting to realize that Elizabeth has no fear... I even try to scare her or jump out at her and she laughs and gets excited... Speaking of fear, I found out last Friday that Elizabeth thinks dogs are hilarious. She was around my friends dog for the first time and Elizabeth thought it was the greatest! We have been dealing with some kind of respiratory issue with her. We give her an inhaler as needed. She's not diagnosed with baby asthma but that's what it might be... Anyway, we wish everyone well!
